The Education Relief Foundation (ERF) is a tax-exempt not-for-profit and non governmental organisation (NGO). It serves to develop and promote a new approach to education that emphasises the importance of balance and inclusivity in the curriculum offered to young people. ERF believes that, in a globalised world with unprecedented movement of people across continents, evidence based research must be conducted to confirm that only a curriculum with a holistic view on the history of civilisations around the globe can, in the long term, be a sustainable solution to achieving inclusion, global collaborations, and non-discrimination reflecting the contribution of diverse cultures and civilisations to our modern world.

ERF's mission is ambitious but realistic. The case for change has to be made.

ERF focuses on system assessment, civil society engagement, capacity building, and policy development, as well as practical interventions at the grassroots. Academic rigour; evidence behind the case being made; coherence between theories, policies, priorities, and action are ensured by commissioned researched. ERF operates projects in partnership with other NGOs and similar organisations. All projects at ERF are underpinned by a learning framework to collate and analyse evidence, followed by continual adjustment of implementation plans based on what has been learned, thereby offering more durable outcome with long-lasting benefits in the face of a rapidly evolving modern world.
